Complaint against Monarch
7/9/2012 on our flight with monarch ZB564 Manchester to Tenerife, we were delayed for 14 hours. My wife and I submitted our complaint in 2012, and we were denied due to it being technical fault being under exceptional circumstance. This has since been ruled not a valid reason to refuse compensation by the UK courts under the case Jet 2 v Huzarr. An appeal to the supreme court was rejected and yet I have still not been contacted by Monarch despite repeated attempts to contact them. I only ask what is due to them under the law, the same they would expect from their customers.
