Complaint against Merlin Annual Pass
I am an annual pass holder and I booked to go to seaworld on 27/10. Reserving my spot for £1 and paying for my son at the full rate online. I stupidly left my pass at home - which i admit was silly! HOWEVER - I called the Merlin annual pass customer services and they told me there was nothing they could do. There is no mechanism for annual pass holders to gain entry in to an attraction if you don't have the card - no database they can check or no process for HQ to alert the attraction box office. I find this ridiculous - in this day and age, with sophisticated computer databases - there is no way for all the merlin attractions to lookup who are annual pass holders??? Not even an offer to reimburse me on the ticket i would have to pay. nothing!! I'm very disappointed and rather than lose another £30 on a full price ticket, I rearranged my day. I paid £180 for this pass and I feel really let down.
