[LAPSED] Charged for holiday which wasn't agreed between both parts and not refunded

Complaint against Holiday Gems

I have booked holiday trough Holiday Gems online.The company called saying is no longer available with this price or have to travel from different airport.We have refused and asked to cancell the Holiday. On top of that my card was charged full amount which shouldn't have been in the firt place as their terms and conditions states. I only find out when looke dat my bank statement. A few days later received email about refund due but 2 weeks on money are still not in my account. The Holiday admin is not communicating with me. I have had a response saying that the refund is in hand and nothing else. I was cherged for not confirmed or booked holiday and no refund.I need my hard earned money back as it is the only saving I have for my Holiday this year. I feel so frustrated and upset.

This was refunded and we note that the reviewer has been advised of the transaction number. We would recommend that he contacts his bank if this is not showing in his account as these funds have definitely left our account.
