Complaint against Holiday Gems

We booked holiday with holiday Gems. When we arrived at the airport the flight was cancelled due to snow. They only cancelled 3 flights and the airport opened. We re booked for next day with holiday gems to a different destination , no flights to original destination. We got the flight money back from flight but not the hotel. Holiday gems have been no help. When you ring never get through, dont reply to emails of contact you back. Im very disappointed and cannot afford to lose the money. No use complaining it one of the top staff members who answers admin line ! What does that say !

Any cancellation by weather conditions is considered a 'force majeure' The hotel would have charged 100% cancellation fees for no show and we are sure that you would have been advised to claim through your travel insurance. During any incident which will involve increased calls and/or emails, our management will always assist on the telephone. Please email our complaints department
