Complaint against Holiday Gems

I booked a holiday with holiday gems , when I did the booking it was for 16th July till the 24th July , I was not not told while doing the booking that I checkout on the 23rd July as my flight is on 24th , I was not told I would have no hotel after checkout, I should of been told this but they did not mention this at all, now I'm stuck with my family on holiday for one day without a hotel, I have spoke to hoildaygems regarding this but there are saying that I would have to pay the difference which is £300 I think this is wrong , I really want to have a full refund and book with another company that will give the correct information.

As per the order you placed online the hotel was booked in this way as you had a very early morning departure from the hotel. A late check out was requested on your behalf and the hotel will always do all possible to honour this. As the booking was made as per your online instructions, we will, of course, need to add an extra night at your cost. Please check the order summary for your instruction
