Thought you might be interested in an experience my wife has had with British Airways She used BA to fly to Italy in May and due to circumstances the flight was delayed by 4 hours. She was ,with her 3 friends , advised to seek compensation which they all did. Within 2weeks the other 3 received their cheques for a reasonable sum ,my wife did not receive hers. She therefore emailed BA customer service (joke) and was assured that her cheque had been written and sent to her and would be with her within 5 working days needless to say it did not arrive.. She has since early June sent multiple emails and tried phoning on numerous occasions,sometimes waiting half and hour without response. She even sent a letter by recorded delivery which has been delivered ,as we tracked it ,her own expense still without any response from BA The last time she phoned it was on a Sunday when you are able to leave your name and address and they are supposed to call you back ,she didn't even get through to be able to leave her details. BA CUSTOMER SERVICE LAUGHABLE!!!!!!!!
