Complaint against Southern
My wife bought a ticket from Wivelsfield Station to travel to Boreham Wood on the 25th March for a meeting and then 6 hours later returned to the same place to get a refund on the ticket as the meeting was cancelled. She was told that there was a £10 admin charge! Nowhere was this shown or advertised in the ticket office. She was also not advised that terms & conditions applied to advance purchases before she paid for the ticket by the salesperson. She was told the terms and conditions apply location (online) is printed on the ticket you get once youve purchased it! £10 admin to refund & tear up a ticket.
