Complaint against Super Escapes
Good evening When I booked the holiday I spoke to Edward. Our northern lights tour was cancelled and that was the whole point of going in this holiday and super escapes have refused to give a refund. They also charged us £80 for a room upgrade and on arriving at the hotel we were told that all the rooms were the same and there was no upgrade and all rooms were the same price The original payment for the holiday was broken down as £189.00 each person for flight and hotel room £80 for accommodation upgrade £343.00 was Paid for the northern lights tour and this was not a complimentary tour. 2.5% charge for credit card. Total cost for holiday was £1328. I don’t know where you have got that the tour for The northern lights was complimentary as if it was complimentary the holiday would have cost £756, but we paid for the tour and the room upgrade separately by Edward. So I need a refund as we could not go on the tour and we did not receive a room upgrade as hotel manager said that all the rooms Were the same. I do expect a refund so please contact me to arrange This is how the holiday was originally sold to me and if a full refund is not forthcoming then I will take this further, I am really not happy with being offered a £10 voucher and not a refund for a tour we paid for and were sold that we could not go in due to it being cancelled. Al I have been offered is a £10 voucher to book another holiday. I would never book a holiday with this company ever again. Regards Mark
