Complaint against Airbnb
The boiler broke down and the host was very slow, incompetent and indifferent to the situation. Because of which, I suffered with my young children during almost 2 week stretch of stay after paying the full amount in advance. The host had a advantage as she only refunded a small amount and though I requested airbnb to mediate, they did not bother at all to convince the host to compensate for having no basic amenity for such a long time. To top it all, they removed my reviews though I did not reference the case at all. They want to only put up positive review so that guests are oblivious to the truth about certain hosts and airbnb keeps making money. So, it a big cover up and I am sure lot of people have had the same experience. I really suffered after paying so much and I will never recommend airbnb to anyone.
