Booking cancelled by mistake

Complaint against booking.com

My booking was cancelled by my little son by mistake without me knowing. I relieved an email saying my booking was cancelled rang straight back was told the hotel does not have a 24 hour desk so they can not call them now however they will In the morning but that was not true as the hotel did have a 24 hour reception. I was suppose to travel to the hotel that same morning I was told by booking.com that they will get in touch with the hotel first thing in the morning and get back to me took my contact details I never heard a single thing back from them at all. Ended up calling back the next day waited an hour for a operator to speak to but I didn't get threw and gave up all in all ended up missing the holiday and paying the full price for the hotel which I didn't even stay at all because booking.com couldn't sort it out.
