Refund not made in full

Complaint against booking.com

The Booking.com website assures you that no money will be taken upfront and you will only pay when staying at the hotel. Bank details were given purely to secure the booking. However, full payment was taken from my bank instantly - over £2000. On complaint, it took over 2 weeks for a refund to be made and even then they only made a partial refund, because of the exchange rate. This was their error but now they are not responding to my emails.
