TAP Portugal unhelpful to customers when they are the problem

Complaint against TAP Portugal

TAP Portugal has a pilot strike starting Friday 1 May. We are due to travel and our flight was cancelled. We want a refund and have phoned (23 times yesterday) their call centre as well as tweeted and face booked them to ask how to get refund. Told only a voucher can be given. Now today they informed us that they cannot give us a voucher, that we need to contact Opodo (online travel agent) that we booked through (this was not what they said yesterday). Opodo yet to contact me. Frustrated and annoyed and lost money on accommodation as there was a 7 day cancellation requirement. Travel insurance reticent to pay out. What a mess!
