Delayed return flight

Complaint against easyJet

We were returning from Venice on 17th July 2016 to London Gatwick and are flight was delayed by just over 4 hours due to a engine fault. We have been trying to get compensation but all we keep on getting is a returned email from easyjet we will be in contact in 21days. We did this on the 29th July and in August September and now Oct. Still the same reply. We would like you help if its possible. Thank you
