EasyJet refuses flight to 70 year old despite having a ticket.

Complaint against easyJet

I bought a ticket online in Corfu from Corfu to Gatwick. I was unable to get through to getting a boarding pass. I arrived five hours early hoping that an EasyJet member of staff would help me out. Eventually I joined the queue to check in but noticed a sign that said if I didn't have anything to put in the hold I could go direct to departures. This I did and was allowed through security without a boarding pass. I assumed I would get one after security. However with no EasyJet staff I could not find anyone to help me. I tried on my iPad to get a boarding pass but was told that I had not checked in. When the flight was called there were still no EasyJet staff so I apologised that I did not have a boarding pass for the last flight of the day! I was told that I couldn't fly. I was left with no help at the airport, no alternative flight to get on, no one at EasyJet phone customer services, no EasyJet staff at the airport. I spent the night on two chairs and then had to book another flight with Thomas Cook the next day. Although I have received many apologies from EasyJet and an £8.90 refund, I have not had any proper full refund plus the cost of my flight the next day for refusing to take me. I hate EasyJet!
