Jewelry stolen from checked-in baggage
Complaint against easyJet
Baggage checked in at Prague for Edinburgh flight EZY6962. Flight delayed by approx 2 hours (Technical Fault). When baggage collected from conveyor at Edinburgh, securing strap was disconnected from trolley case. I assumed that it had become disconnected during flight. Arrived home and realised case had been gone through and my wife's Jewelry box was empty. Assume that during delay someone working for Easyjet at Prague has had ample time/opportunity to steal from case. Reported to Police, cannot get in touch with Eayjet outwith office hours. Unhappy traveller !
