Over charged for hold league, and EasyJet Ignore complaints.

Complaint against easyJet

Dear Sir or Madam I am writing to complain about the manner in which my partner and I have been dealt with by Easy Jet Holidays. On booking our holiday over the internet we thought it was strange to have to pay a supplement for ones luggage. But as there seemed no way around this we continued to book the holiday. As the sight required £60.00 for each piece of hold league taken on the flight, my partner and I decided to take only one suitcase weighing under 20kg between the two us. If the aforesaid was not bad enough on checking in at Bristol Airport, the Easy Jet departure attendant, asked us where are Golfing equipment was. Taken by surprise by what we thought was a very strange question, we explained we did not have any Golfing equipment. She told us that according to her records we had paid a supplement of £60 for Golfing equipment to be taken on the flight and furthermore we now had to pay an additional £32 for the one piece of baggage we had, and that if we did not then we would not be allowed to go. Extremely upset at this we demanded to see a supervisor. We explained to the Easy Jet supervisor that the company had already erroneously taken £60 from us for Golf Equipment we clearly did not have but rather then refunding the £60 overpaid the attendant was still demanding a further £32. But the supervisor merely backed up her colleague. Thus my partner and I were forced into paying a further £32 . When we returned home after our holiday, we wrote and e-mailed Easy Jet regarding this requesting an apology and our money which was overpaid returned. To date Easy Jets response has been to simply ignore all our communications.
