Complaint against CrossCountry Trains
CrossCountry Trains using misleading/confusing language in T&C's locking customers into the most restrictive tickets. The company charge for ticket delivery (accepted) and more unsually, station collection. Print Your Own tickets are non-refundable (accepted) and "non-exchangable". In the case of genuine human error, event three weeks away from a journey, Print Your Own tickets cannot be cancelled/amended in their words "to prevent fraud" (despite Train Managers checking ID on the trains). Customer Service have 'as a gesture of goodwill' provided a partial refund in my case ( in the form of vouchers) but maintain that "it's normal train industry language that any amendment is in fact an exchange of tickets". This isn't normal english usage and is a very sharp practice.
