Complaint against World Star Travel
I booked my family's flights with a guy called Tyler Chase on September 10th 2016 in full for flights from London to Kuala Lumpur, December 21, 2016 - Sunday, January 1 for £2880.00. I got confirmation but no tickets, at the time for a few hundred £££ more I could of booked with expedia but decided to book with these as the saving would go towards the hotel ect ect. On Sunday the 18th December I recieved a call from him to tell me the flights had been canceled by the airline. 3 days before our holiday/ flights we where due to go on!!!!! OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG!!!! I had to re-book with a different airline (through another company not them, i would of rather lost the holiday completely than pay anymore money to Worldstar) for £5500 as this was only a few day before the xmas break. I had to repeatedly call end email to get my money back but got the same response that Mr Chase was either on a break or in a meeting. If i emailed him i also got no response. I eventually got my money back in January following lots of calls. I was advised by a solicitor friend I could seek compensation from the airline, which has been going on for months now, only to find out that we where never even booked on the flights that Worldstar had supposedly booked us on. My solicitor explained that I should now look to take Worldstar travel to court as they clearly hadn't booked us on the flight, they had only taken my money. Following months of court actions letters and countless conversations and endless stress I have now written off doing anything further. I also urge anybody not to book with this company, as it will end up being a waist of time and lots of stress I ended up getting flights from expedia who I should of booked with in the first place. Very unhappy holiday purchaser
