Complaint against World Star Travel
The flight company have taken £675 from my account for tickets to Fort Cochin, I paid on line via the link that was sent to me. I waited a week but no e tickets arrived? I researched the company to find that there were several recent complaints stating that they had also NOT received their tickets even though payment had been taken. I contacted the company at World Star and stated my concerns, they suggested I wait another twenty four hours, I did but still nothing. so I phoned again and insisted that they refund my payment. They even suggested that I would need to pay £100 for this to be down, I said I would even agree to that as I was very concerned that I had been 'scammed' . Several emails and several phone calls later over the last 14 days, and I am still without any kind of refund. I work for a charity in Kerala they can ill afford to loose this money! And I as a volunteer worker for them also cannot not loose such an amount of money either. Something must be terribly wrong with this organisation. I am now so distressed and upset and am seeking consumer protection information and may even have to go to the police, this money means so much to all of us concerned. Please help.
