Missed our flight because of Terravision

Complaint against Terravision

We booked 2 coach tickets with Terravision London Liverpool St - London Stansted for the 11th March. We already knew this company, we used it several times in London and other places, so for us, no need to worry about them. Our coach was to depart at 1335 on the 11th, our plane being at 1635 and the journey being 1 hour or 1 hour 30, it was more than sufficient. We took our bus in Liverpool St. at the right time. When boarding, we were told that we would need to change bus at King's Cross Station, but that it would not make the journey longer, that another Terravision bus would be expecting us there and we would leave right away. I told them when our flight was, they said it was fine. Terravision left us in King's Cross, where we found another coach, but it was CityLink's. We had already lost some time on journey time. They told us it was fine with Terravision, and took our Terravision tickets. We got no explanation of any kind, no warning. Then, we waited for at least 25 minutes in front of King's Cross. We understood we would be a bit more in a rush at the airport to catch our plane than we thought, but since they had told us we would be there in time and since we had no other option, we waited. Finally, we only arrived at the airport 15 mins before the departure time, we tried to get to the gate, but it was obviously too late, the time for us to get through security, the plane had taken off. We then had to rebook tickets for our destination, but all flights for the same day were full. Our best (and cheapest) option was to go back to London, book a hotel and take the train the next day to get to our destination (Edinburgh). This resulted in us paying £200 extra because of Terravision's lack of professionalism. We were later told by 2 different people from the airport the whole story, and the fact that this company conned people with fradulent contracts. We are currently trying to get a refund for the extra costs incurred because of them.
