[RESOLVED] - Sold an closed holiday, won't refund the full amount.

Complaint against loveholidays.com

Love holidays sold me flights and hotel to Malta. The week before I was due to leave I had the idea to look online at the hotel I had chosen to find out that the hotel would be closed a few days before our arrival and during our period of stay. The only alternative holiday offered to us was a Lower star, self catering hotel with a cost payable by us of £127, compared to our higher star all inclusive package I had already paid for. I was disgusted, we had trusted you to provide us with the hotel we had paid for at the time of booking or at least provide us a hotel on same par. Love holidays didn't know about the hotel closing until I told them. I spoke to a couple advisors, all un particularly helpful but one outrageously rude. I have not received a full refund of my holiday package. Avoid this company people.. I'm in the proceedings of taking legal advice if this matter is not sorted soon.
