Complaint against ScotRail
This morning (Thursday 12th may 2016 ) my son was traveling from Arbroath to Perth on the 07:27 train, he realised when he was on the train that he had left his WALLET at home and call me to send a picture of his VALID train ticket, he got off the train at Dundee because A friend was picking him up there so they could get to the college to sit an SQA EXAM , as he approached the turn stile he went to the only member of staff he could see to explain what had happened and show him the VALID ticket picture that I sent to PROVE he had a valid ticket, the man was not interested told my son go buy an other ticket, which my son told him he couldn't because he didn't have his wallet so he had no money on him , he was told it's not his problem and I QUOTE THIS ," go back to where you came from". Which I think is totally unacceptable and is at all not proper Customer service in my opinion. So because of this my son missed is very important SQA exam for his apprenticeship. Which his employer is also not happy about.
