Complaint against Newport Bus
on the 24th of april 2017,my son and his partner went to catch the number 30 bus at greyfriars road in cardiff at 10:56 am to get to newport hospital where their newborn baby is in the scbu unit where he has been since 19 .04.2017,and they was refused entry by the driver saying he would not accept the weekly pass of which they had been using up until then.this caused a lot of stress and late for the babys feeding and appts,and made my sons girlfriend ill as she was unable to get there on time.due to this incident they had to pay again on another bus to get to the hospital late .due to the rudeness and behaviour of the driver my son and girlfriend had to pay 50 pound for a taxi to bring them back home to merthyr tydfil that evening ,and i had to pay for it as they had no money and very upset by this .i would be grateful if you could look into this as they have never been refused before and their baby is only a week old fighting for its life only to be refused on the bus .
