denied boarding at cdg airport

Complaint against KLM

Myself and my wife and granddaughter where denied boarding a Air France flight from CDG airport to St Maarten on the 18/01/2015 the flight from Manchester arrived in Paris at 9.50am and the flight to St Marteen was to leave at 10.45am and the gate close at 10.30 am they closed the gate instead at 10.15am and there for denied us the right to board, after several email to KLM they say we are not due any form of compensation as it was a different carrier from Manchester and not them, the flight from Manchester was af1899 operated by Flybe but all the crew where in KLM/ Airfrance uniforms , Flybe say it is not there fault as they had us there in Paris in time for our flight to St Marteen flight number AF0498, I do have a email from KLM stating that they did close the gate early and that it was there decision as they new we where arriving late, I do believe that we should be paid compensation for this denied boarding but KLM say the matter is closed.
