Holiday didn’t exist

Complaint against 321 Travel

This company are operating whilst in the process of being struck off by Companies House. I booked a holiday over the phone on Sunday 1st October 2017 and gave my debit card details. This was for a holiday departing on 23rd October 17 to Turkey for 7 nights all inclusive. I was then called on Monday 2nd Oct to say the holiday was not available so i said fine leave it. I was harassed all morning with offers of alternatives. I was than called to say unless i accepted the alternative which was more expensive, a different date and airport then i would lose all my money anyway as I cannot cancel. I couldn’t understand this given the holiday I asked for hadn’t even been booked. After investigating this company and reading reviews it is apparent they make money by conning and intimidating people. Trading Standards, Travel Association Trust and my bank are now involved but after checking Companies House it appears 321 Travel Ltd is already in the process of being struck off. They have taken £966 from my account for a holiday I did not want and was informed unless i accepted this i would not get a refund anyway. I have called since and the director is extremely rude, laughs and hangs up.
