Complaint against National Holidays
I booked a holiday to Scotland for 4 days commencing on the 1st of December 2017 for my wife's 50th birthday. I realise that there has to be a certain amount of passengers to make the trip viable. This is why I continually checked National holidays website to see how many passengers have booked for the Scotland trip. On the 18th of October I found the holiday has disappeared from the website completely. I contacted National via their website and not only sent my concerns via email but also saved all of Nationals responses. The first response from a member of staff stated "I have had a look at our web site and this tour is still available to book." I asked National to please check again, and the response was "I have just checked again and it is definitely going ahead there are you putting in the search 5424T as there is two coaches going out and both are showing on the web". I became so concerned at this that I rang National Holidays and asked to speak to a member of staff, the response was as follows " Mr Dunn you have nothing to worry about I personally have just checked if your holiday is still going ahead and the reason the holiday has been took off our website is that your hotel is full up but your holiday is safe and still going ahead as planned within the schedule you already have. I felt reassured about this as it is my wife's 50th birthday. However on Wednesday I received a message on my answering machine to contact National. Wrote them and email and received no response, rang them last night Thursday 10th December and you know I was left with a disappointing feeling when I came off the phone the response was poor.
