Complaint against National Holidays
we have holidayed with national many times and quite happy with travel and hotels ,but we have just returned from Gracellie Hotel Isle of man and feel I have to complain bedroom was clean although no wardrobe just a rail with 4 clothes hangers. Bathroom had no towel rail or anywhere to hang towels so after using them on morning were damp for evening shower they weren't changed over the 4 days. Also in bathroom top half of window covered in spiders webs, hair and talcum powder on floor and no bin. Restaurant staff were young girls with no guidance waiting 30 minutes between courses for evening meal. Breakfast was waitress service but sat 30minutes had to ask for pot of tea then she took order for breakfast another wait 20 minutes, fruit juice jugs weren't refilled. On Monday, morning of departure coach was leaving at 7 30 so we were informed breakfast was 6 30,by 7 00 we hadn't had pot of tea I had to go to kitchen door to ask when waitress brought tea she asked what we wanted for breakfast by this time it was7 10 so it was to late as coach was leaving 7 30 so we had no breakfast. Top window in dining room totally covered in spiders webs with spiders running across. Bar area was dirty shelves where glasses stood were filthy and floor don t when it last saw a mop . Again young staff preferring to play on phone than work. On returning from day out reception was unmanned but keys to rooms were just lay on reception desk not good security as anyone could have walked into hotel picked key up and gone to rooms. We feel this hotel need looking into as not your normal standards Andy the driver was lovely when told him he said he would put in his report.
