Complaint against National Holidays
We went on our first National Holiday to Cotswold and Bath on Friday 1st December got picked up on time at 07.10 arrived at the hotel 18.10 we were told by the bus driver who was lovely called Jim that the times were 19.30 for evening meal.When we arrived at the dining room at 19.45 there was no food left we were told we could have a sandwich but we had eaten sandwiches all day travelling down,all we wanted was a hot meal. Me and my husband had to go to the nearest pub for a hot meal. we were told the next day by the driver that he was sorry that a few people didn't get food because a party of Welsh people had been in and got up 3 or 4 times for food.That is no excuse for me as the hotel should of catered for the people that were staying there.Low and behold the next night the bus driver told us to get to the restaurant at 19.20 to be certain to get food.I arrived at 19.30 to be told there was no food left we should of been there at 18.30.Me and my husband had to again go to the local pub for a hot meal. I am totally disgusted in this and the way we were treated. I would like to be compensated for the two nights meals we had to buy,and the inconvenience of crossing a busy dual carriageway to get to the pub.And i suggest you put people up for the night in a better organised hotel who cater for your clients who are paying a lot of money for this holiday.
