Complaint against National Holidays

Id booked a come dancing event with national holidays for January in Birmingham. Total £238for 2 people..circumstances on my side changed so I had to cancel. ..I phoned and was told I would lose £100..but I could book other trips for another time and not lose anything..I received a brochure and picked 4 trips over December period. .Saturday.phoning back I asked about the trips availability. ..I was put on hold as she made enquiries. ..after 5 mins of beeping phone I thought she'd cancelled the call.....so I left it....I had work to do ..Monday I researched rest of there December trips online. I called back. ..I was told id lost £100 on cancelling come dancing. ..but mysteriously id booked a Litchfield trip...I remember telling her it was one of 4 that I was interested in. ..I didn't book it. ..I couldn't go anyway so that was cancelled costing me another £21...so being left with £117 an Exmouth trip was booked but I was £2 short...can't believe that after all the incompetence. ..speaking to complaints department. .getting nowhere. ...the staff seems to close ranks...a sort of smug way of dealing with complaints. ..most big companies have recorded phone calls. ..proof of what is said. ..I asked them to listen to past calls to sort prove my complaint. ..they said they don't have it....REALLY. ..so I had to pay by card £2 to secure a trip I was forced to take because its all that was left out of £238
