Complaint against National Holidays
I would like to express my utter disappointment for a journey that I am currently experiencing to Stratford and Cotswolds. Firstly we were supposed to have been collected this morning at 8.35 from Ashton under Lyne, but the coach did not arrive until 9 o'clock. Secondly there was a big delay on getting into Stockport bus station and Altrincham bus station in which our driver had to make a rather large diversion in order to get back into Stockport bus station. We were then told that not only the driver had never been to either Stockport or Altrincham before, but he had only been given post codes and no information at all as to how to access the bus stations. This is absolutely disgraceful that a member of your staff has not been given extra information regarding how to get into the bus stations. You always collect at stockport and so you know fully well how difficult and complex their roads are . We should have arrived at Stratford by 2pm but with the delay of over an hour and the heavy traffic,it is looking very unlikely that we will have any time at all in Stratford. Without wanting to get the driver into any trouble, I feel that it also necessary to point out that he had just come back from Spain last night at 10pm and was back out on the road at 4.30 am this morning and think it's highly inappropriate that you would expect one of your employees to resume driving after such a short interval and he has now gone over his allotted hours that is governed by law. We have just arrived at Keele services for a 45 min break. I look forward to your speedy response. Regards.
