London spectacular and lights we booked this holiday for 19th december

Complaint against National Holidays

Holiday we booked was for london spectacuar and lights when we arrived in london we were dropped at hyde park and had 3hrs to look around before going to hotel which was fine arrived at hotel rooms were good went down for dinner which was very well organised. Unfortunatly mice were seen in the dining room which put us of eating there. The next day we had a full day to look round the sights when we got back on the coach everyone was asked if they wanted to see the lights which we put our names down for we were then told it would be £10 per person and it would be first come first served i queried this as it we thought we had paid to see london and lights .we went down to lobby at stated time of 7-45 to leave at 8pm we waited for bus to arrive which it did but because there were only 14 people who wanted to go the drivers said it was not worth going ,this was very dissapointing and we were quite angry about this as we all booked for london and lights .by the time we were told we were no going it was to late to book to see a show or organise something else to do there was no entertainment on in the hotel so we spent rest of night in our room as did the other guests all in all a very dissapointing trip not only did we not eat at the hotel because of the infestation of mice which apparently has been an issue in the hotel for a while ,no entertainment and no trip to see the lights we could of booked to see a show or something and am upset to say the least that because the drivers didnt get enough people to pay extra £10 each to see the lights which if thos was so you should state this when people are booking as we were not aware nor was any other passengers that this would be extra ,we were looking forward so much to this trip but we are very dissapointed not only did we have to eat out at our expense we were really looking forward to the christmas lights we are seeking to look at some sort of compensation as the trip was not as advertised and we were told you were aware of the mice situation at the hotel .
