Complaint against National Holidays

We were returning from a nine day holiday in the Italian riviera on 8th oct 2017. All of our coaches which included those returning from other venues in Italy managed to make the 1.25 ferry except for 1 . The reason being they decided to make an unscheduled stop at the chocolate and alcohol warehouse near Calais. This had a knock on effect as it meant we had 2 hours to kill as the passengers on the late coach were also rejoining the earlier coaches at the changeover at wood hall. This caused us to stop at south mimes for an hour and at Leicester for an hour thus spending more money and kicking our heels on an already exhausting journey. It would have made sense for all the coaches to synchronise their ferry departure and avoid this havoc. All passengers arrived late to their ultimate pick up point and as a result taxis etc had to be cancelled and arrangements rehashed. We should have arrived home at 9.00pm but instead it was11.30. A disgrace, I would hesitant to recommend this trip to others .
