Complaint against National Holidays
My husband and I got to Middlesbrough bus station at 9:30. Our pick up call time is 11:20 going to Kuenkehof gardens 3rd April( yesterday). At near time, buses for dancing on ice, Liverpool and Bruges came. Driver not shouted Kuenkenhof gardens nor shouted our name as they used to the crowd. I am seated facing the door so I will hear the call clearly. My husband stand near the glass to check in coming bus in order to alert me to get ready. Quarter past 11 I rang national holidays to inquire for the coach. They replied it did came and left already because of "no show". I was upset to think we were told it was our fault that we missed the coach. I have been with national holidays for 10 years. I felt let down. Later on my third phone call national holidays explained that we should have took the coach for Bruges as it is for Kuenkenhof gardens. I have heard the driver shouting "Bruges "but not Kuenkenhof gardens. How would we know that is a coach for us when the driver only shouted"Bruges". Nor in any time did driver shouted our name. They give us option to get our own way to Haul and join the group.As for them it was our fault and no obligation to apologise nor refund our money.
