I found a good deal on last minute.com for myself, mum and younger cousin to Lanzarote leaving 29th October 2016. This was booked on the Sunday night of 16th October 2016. I had to enter my PayPal details for payment and got an email after booking to let me know that my booking was being processed. The next morning I received an email stating the accommodation I booked was not available (even though it is advertising that it is available to everyone, and still is right now FALSE ADVERTISING ). They offered me another accommodation but were asking for an extra £600 odd and the email stated if I didn't reply within so many days my booking would automatically get cancelled but I called them to let them know I was not happy and that I would be cancelling, I made sure I asked that no money would be taken out my account at any time to which they replied that was correct, the lady said no money should be taken out my account as I had not confirmed the booking. 2 days later I was planning on going to a travel agents after work, I checked my bank and they had taken the full £783! I called PayPal they said I would have to contact lastminute.com and I did right after. They said the lady I spoke to had not cancelled my holiday and I wouldn't get my money back til another 6 days! I need that money just now as that's the reason I booked with last minute as its a last minute holiday they have totally ruined it for me and I want to take this further as they have my money and are preventing me from booking something else.
