Complaint against Lastminute.com
I booked in April a 4 night break to New York with LastMinute.Com. A few days before we go we see on Holiday Inn website that the hotel we are booked into doesn't open until October. We called LM and they insist that it is open but tell us our room only has one bed for three adults and tell us that if we didn't want to sleep 3 in a bed we should have specified when booking. We then call again to check and are told actually the hotel isn't open and we would have to pay a cancellation fee because there is not a hotel alternative. Since then they have kept saying they are looking into it and have not given answers. We are flying on Monday morning and do not have a hotel to stay in.
