Complaint against Travelodge
I booked a 2 night stay at Travelodge, Reading for 22/4/2016 and 23/4. unfortunately had to cancel 23/4. I notified the guy at the desk Friday night at 10pm to cancel 23/4. he said even though I paid cash. he could not give cash refund as I booked with my card..said I will get a refund of £62 but will take 3 days. I have rung late rooms almost daily, and Travelodge. all said they will sort it. then I was told from late rooms today they have no record of cancellation..or any other correspondence. So they have charged me for a night I never stayed there..I do want my money returned..
