Airline cancels flights so NH Hotel doesn't care

Complaint against NH Hotel Group

Good Afternoon, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to you in hopes that someone will be able to better assist me with regards to my reservation. I booked my reservation on November 6,2018 via NH's website. Upon doing so my flight to Amsterdam had already been booked through Norwegian airline on September 6th,2018. I was flying into Amsterdam with a group of 10 other people. We all booked our hotels at the same place on the same date. Last night, Wednesday November 28th at 11:00 pm EST Norwegian Airlines texted my groups of friends and I to inform us that they had cancelled our flight. We have been trying to get another flight into Amsterdam without any luck. Norwegian Airline Flight # DY7700. The next available flight that I could have gotten on was for Saturday December 1st at 12:04 am, which does not fit my schedule seeing that I had taken off of work, and had received my approval from my employer, for Friday November 30th to Monday December 3rd. I tried booking another one way flight with Delta Airlines in which they are charging $2500 for a one way flight. This entire trip has been a disappointment and frustrating experience. I would like to get refunded seeing that the airline company is the one to blame. I am not cancelling my reservation with NH Hotels just because I do not want to stay they. I am cancelling my reservation due to me not being able to get there (Amsterdam). I have left a message at 11:45 pm on November 28th and I have spoken with a today November 29th at 8:26 am in hopes to getting a refund issued. I was told by an employee by the name of Ali that I would be receiving a phone call from a manager of some sort before 6pm today. If there is something that a higher up can do for me I will be very delighted. thank you
