Complaint against NH Hotel Group

In July I reserved a holiday through booking.com to Hotel Hesperia Lanzarote but was unsure how it worked I thought that it reserved the holiday for a few days then it cancelled automatically. In the meatime I booked it elsewhere and assumed that this would cancel out. I did go to Hotel Hesperia along with my sister and family. I then received my credit card details in with a charge of 201.37 off for Hotel Hesperia. I am saddened and disappounted you can charge this amount and charge at all. We spent a lot of money on this holiday and so did my sister and now I have this added to my expense. I was going to return next year along with my sister and family and between us it cost approx £4000 all inclusive as we thought it was worth it. Unfortunately now after this I will not be returning and I told family and friends that they need to visit you but now I will telling them no dont go because they are greedy and wont refund me this money due to an oversight on my part. Compared to 201.37 euro and what we would have spent returning to Hotel Hesperia is your loss. If you can oversee this amount then we will continue to visit this Hotel for years to come.
