Complaint against Ryanair

Goods confiscated from plastic bags at checkin. One brand new M&S talcum powder (still sealed), shampoo, hairspray, hair mousse, and more worringly my husband's liquid medication. The medication was in a small plastic container as I was unable to purchase a small bottle. In the airport shop (Superdrug at East Midlands airport, the same goods were advertised with a notice saying all acceptable on aircraft. What happens to the goods which are confiscated - who has them? Talcum powder in particular - I don't think this was an item which required scrutiny, but being honest, I tried to make life easier. I am 81 years of age and was travelling with my husband (82) who had special needs and assistance at the airport.
