Complaint against Ryanair

Flight FR8387 17/12/2015 was delayed 4hours 57 mins. I took this flight.Ryanair refused to provide any refreshments or vouchers for food drink etc. The next morning after arriving home i received an email from Ryanair confirming the delay and supplying me with reference number. I wrote to them requesting compensation,they decided to refund my ticket costs,however this falls short of the legal amount of compensation due for a delay of this length.I wrote back to them detailing the compensation rules after several letters and emails they are now saying i didn't take the flight in question (just to confirm i did) Please could you advise me as to what my next steps should be, thanks Mr S Wilson
