[RESOLVED] - Ryanair refused to refund flight when double booked through no fault of my own.

Complaint against Ryanair

We booked a flight on the 21st March 2016, to fly to Tenerife on the 18th of December 2016. We received no confirmation e-mail so assumed the transaction did not go through. I couldn't get any information either through their website or by telephone. We re-booked the following day and received the obligatory confirmation e-mail. My wife was a little suspicious so we tried to get in touch via the website, but that proved futile. After numerous attempts at trying to ring them, being put on hold for several minutes and just being cut off, I finally got through to speak to someone, informed me that indeed it was double booked, and they don't do refunds. Now £544 out of pocket!
