Complaint against Magic Rooms
Having booked this holiday for 2 rooms in sept 18 for two weeks commencing 24 August 2019.we booked this hotel for the positive reviews. Regrettably the rooms offered to us were basic and not suitable for a 2 weeks stay and unacceptable in many levels. I have had a few issues with the room/service/ view etc and when I raised my concerns about paying over £2690, the rooms offered to us were not the standard we are used to for the price paid. Having raised this matter with management we were informed that travel republic used a third party agent to supply the 2 rooms. We were advised that the rooms 218/318 are basic rooms due to the low cost given to holiday inn but had not reflected the payment we made. We have had3 rooms in 4 days and I have passed the manager the confirmation. Invoice with the anniversary and 40th birthday requests, none of these were passed on to holiday inn. This Now leads to the conclusion that magic rooms have taken a larger payment and bookec us in as cheap as possible and taken advantage of us. I will he contacting travel republic about this matter along with abta and would like an explanation for the shortfall. I will never use travel republic again but I intend to make a formal complaint. Absolutely appalling. I eoukd like a formal response not passing the book!
