Sharon's complaint against Eurostar

Refused to change travel dates free of charge following Paris incident

Complaint against Eurostar

Booking number QJLIEK I contacted Eurostar on Saturday, November 14th following the Paris shooting on 13/11 to request a change of travel dates and was told that I would have to pay and rebook within their booking window (not quite sure what this means but I assume it's the short booking window that is available to customers at any given time). Paris is in a 3 month state of emergency and I am not comfortable traveling there at the moment. Eurostar should either allow it's customers to change their dates free of charge or allow up to 12 months for travel to be rebooked and completed.

No acknowledgement of my complaint. I contacted Eurostar again and was told that there would be charges to move booking to a future date. I always found traveling to Brussels and France to be very convenient by Eurostar but I will fly in future.
