DO NOT USE WARRANTIES 2000

I bought a car from a small dealer near Leeds and i asked them to provide a very good warranty on the car so the dealer got me a Premium plus warranty through warranties 2000 which i was charged £400 for and was supposed to be the best warranty available that covered virtually anything on the car. However after weeks of owning the car no paperwork was issued to me to confirm i had warranty. I called warranites 2000 several times and stared to get very annoyed that they kept telling me i was covered but didn't have any paperwork. I demanded a refund because it was very obvious that this was a DODGY company that just take peoples money but they refused to give me any money back. I even checked the legality of obtaining a refund and apparently I had 2 weeks to cancel and get a refund within 2 weeks of receiving documentation. i told them this and they refused and just printed document on an ink jet printer on A4 paper to shut me up. The piece of paper said my warranty was for a maximum of £1000 per claim and a total limit of £2400 for the year, which seem fair enough but no break down of how they cover items on the car My car then developed a fault which is going to cost £1000 to fix, Warranites 2000 have told my mechanic that they will only pay a contribution to the cost but haven't given a figure. they wanted to know the mileage on the car which they have been given now so we are waiting to see what they offer. We are expecting it to be a worthless amount so i plead with anyone buying a car warranty

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, waste of space

I brought a car privately and it still had a warranty on it from (scumbags 2000.) When it had a oil leak some months later, I asked to make a claim. the booklet said that it can be transferred. but maybe cost of £35. so no problem, I thought. BUT after numerous phone calls. they said no they were not interested and that the policy can't be transferred. So the Booklet it rubbish and not worth and paper it's written on. SO DON'T USE people.

My car under the warranty.given it to resolve the issue at a genuine service centre

My car developed a complaint, on 20th December evening. The engine warning light appears and noticed a significant change on engine performance 21st I have contacted the Warranties 2000, and they advised me to give it for an engine diagnosis. Booked an appointment at the local service centre on 23rd morning by 08:15, informed its under warranties 2000.The service centre liaised with warranties 2000 and informed me that they haven't received any further advice for the cost reimbursement from Warranties 2000. Contacted the warranties 2000 by me on 23rd December, 29th, 30th and again on January 4th and 5th for an update. On 4th I have been told by the Warranties 2000 that they are mitigating with the garage. I have no details regarding the mitigation. Today they informed that they have issued the work order, and informed me that they can authorize only certain amount which I believe that it is not sufficient to fix the problem as per the garage. This is the only car I have, and my Christmas holiday plan is spoiled completely. Not even able to go for any shopping either. It’s now 14 days since I have reported this to Warranties 2000 and my car is at the garage since December 23rd. As per the terms and condition booklet the Warranties 2000 the maximum amount per claim is £1000 and eligible for a car hire cost £45 per day, if the issue cannot be resolved within 8hrs

Refusal to pay anything.

Purchased 15 months premium cover when I bought my Audi Q5. Premium cover states 1 clutch failure per warranty. My clutch fails they refuse to pay saying the cars got high mileage so it's wear and tear. If that's the case they shouldn't be selling warranty to cars with high mileage. It's a disgrace, it really is criminal how they get away with it. I'm so angry just after Christmas and having to pay £1300 for something I already paid £300 to cover me for. Do not use this company warranty 2000!
