Hannah Thorpe: 1/5 Stars 24/06/2019 Beyond disappointed Beyond disappointed I've been waiting a while to post this review because I was hoping it would be a positive one. This is my first ever sofa purchase and what a mistake I have made putting my trust in Loaf. I ordered my sofa in January and when it finally arrived in April, it had five rips in various places - not the quality I was expecting! I rang customer service and my hope was restored - Loaf would build me a new sofa and the process would be expedited so that I'd only have to wait a month for a replacement. Now, near the end of June I still do not have a replacement sofa. My sofa was delayed and delayed, problem after problem. Then unbelievably I was told that the sofa manufacturer didn't know how to order enough material and would it be ok if they used two different types of material to make my sofa (the original swatch they had ordered had run out!) I did not think it was unreasonable to want a sofa made out of one swatch material style so that the whole sofa was matching - who would pay thousands of pounds for a botched job? Since I voiced my concerns, Loaf has refused to engage in any meaningful update with me. Loaf has refused to acknowledge that I will have a sofa made to an acceptable standard with one material and Loaf has refused to give me any update on when I can expect to receive this sofa. I have called and emailed countless times over the past few weeks and have recently been told the manager who has been dealing with my case is unavailable but will call back before the end of the day. I have not received a call back to date. I am so disappointed that the customer service has been so appalling - I have never received such bad customer service from any other retail company. I have spoken to countless customer service employees all of whom have assured me they will follow up and get back to me - all of whom have ignored my emails and or not called back. It has seriously called into question the reputation and quality of the company and all I want to do is cancel my order and have a full refund. Its a shame that the actual sofa is so lovely because my ongoing experience of Loaf is a nightmare. Who knows when this issue will be resolved? Who knows if I will ever receive a new sofa? Who knows if it will be a botched job? This has been so stressful and upsetting and I cannot express strongly enough how little disregard Loaf has for its customers. (Note: I expect someone from Loaf pretend to be disappointed at my review and what i have experienced. They will ask me to get in touch following this review, and I am expecting it will make no difference to the customer service I am currently receiving) Loaf has not yet responded. Gary Linard: 1/5 Stars 14/09/2018 Shoddy Product We purchased 3 expensive Sofa’s, all have been returned as faulty. Two pieces returned twice and the third item we are going for replacement number 3! We are still waiting on a response for when it will be exchanged. Many days taken off of work, completion of our new home is delayed and the whole saga has been dragging on for 6 months! Despite repeated emails its rare to get a response from customer services, although they are always nice and polite on the phone, when you can get through that is! Fancy advertising and great design, but terrible product quality, so take my advise and please avoid Loaf at all costs, or at least until they do something about their quality. J H: 1/5 Stars 04/02/2018 Poor. Ustimer Service Very frustrated with Loaf. The original order was delayed by some weeks with very little excuse but finally got a day organised for delivery. I organised my life around the date cancelling meetings only to be called at 5:30pm the day before the delivery to be told the bed hadn’t been delivered to the depot and wouldn’t be delivered the next day. Wrote an immediate email to Loaf upset at this last minute cancellation and heard nothing back. The bed was already incredibly expensive and then the customer service has been shocking!! Very disappointed. Loaf has not yet responded. Helen Robertson: 1/5 Stars 25/11/2017 Insulting Customer Service I ordered 2 Bleaker chairs (in stock) and 4 Bossy chairs (2 in stock, 2 not) on 16/10/17. Paid in full with expected delivery of ALL the chairs by end November. Phoned on 24/11/17 to ask when to expect my order to be told one Bleaker chair not in stock! This chair is £265! Which was in stock and paid for in October. Told won't be available until middle January on complaint told I could have 10% discount on it and no extra delivery charge. Complained again. Now told they will LAON ME TWO chairs until my chair arrives in January. No complimentary discount or gifts just a loan of two chairs that I don't want or need. The chairs I ordered are part of an integral design with a price tag to match. LOAF need to appreciate this and treat their customers accordingly. Loaf has not yet responded. Mark Andrews: 1/5 Stars 31/07/2017 They sold our sofa to someone else We purchased a sofa on line, we received confirmation that we had paid £1155 and to expect a call to arrange immediate delivery. 5 days later they called us to say, due to a computer error they had sold the sofa to someone else! If we wanted that sofa we would have to wait 6 weeks and pay an additional £350. We said that was very unfair and wanted the sofa at the agreed price but were prepared to wait. They final offered us the sofa at an extra £250. We declined their offer. They still have our money. We have written to the managing director. Loaf responded on 03/08/2017: Hi Mark, Thanks for taking the time to leave your review. We're really sorry for the error and confusion caused.
