Your Oak Furniture Reviews
Linda Grace: 2/5 Stars High Expectations Sorely Disappointed Ordered 2 pieces online of furniture for bedroom. First thing the boxes arrived soaking wet as if they had been stored in wet/damp conditions. One piece of furniture had a chip on the front. Phoned customer service several times but sorely disappointed by the service and on the outcome. Felt like I was unimportant and the whole experience stressed me out. I was recommended to try them but I would find it hard to recommend them myself. Oak Furniture Land has not yet responded. Martin Maggiore: 1/5 Stars 22/06/2015 Infested with woodworm We purchased a dining table and chairs for our new home from OFL. We have had it for roughly 3-4 weeks and have had a number of problems. Firstly we were sent the wrong chair covers. Then one of the table legs was faulty and we had to have that replaced and on Friday we have discovered that the table legs are infested with woodworm. There is a lot of dust on the carpet from the woodworm and they are eating away at our new table. My wife is disgusted by it all so won't go anywhere near the dining room. Most of the woodworm are small however one is the size of a fly and is causing some damage and can often be seen emerging from the leg. We have had enough and would like our money back now. We love the table but my wife won't go anywhere near it knowing what has happened with the woodworm. OFL customer services is closed all weekend so I emailed them over the images as requested on Twitter on Saturday and have rang up today to be told it could take up to 24 hours for the images to be uploaded and 2 days for a response. They also told me that this is perfectly normal and don't be surprised to see some dead woodworm on our carpet as they usually die and fall out. It's disgusting! June Henry: 1/5 Stars 17/02/2016 Very poor customer service Received sofas (2+3 seater Milan) were found to be faulty after inspected I was informed it was a faulty batch of leather. I received replacement sofas which I believed to have been pre owned (a possible mix up, sofas that were returned but were shipped to me instead of my replacement) After unwrapping both sofas I discovered there was no wooden feet. I called oakfurniture land immediately to inform them and was told they would send the wooden feet out. They sent out the wrong wooden feet (for a corner suite) I called them again to inform them of the error and was told they would send the correct feet out . They sent the correct wooden feet out, for one sofa!! I called customer services again and asked them AGAIN to uplift the sofas and replace them with 'NEW SOFAS' that I was paying for. I was told that they wouldn't be replaced as that 'wasn't company policy' I told them to cancel my order and come and uplift the sofas which they did on the 30th December 2015. I would not recommend shopping with this company ever. This was an ongoing problem from October. The customer service within the Edinburgh branch really does need a complete overhaul…… Oak Furniture Land has not yet responded.
