Your Arnold Clark Reviews
Karl Karl: 1/5 Stars 10/02/2020 Bought car few days ago. Took it to honda dealer as sensors didn't work. They confirmed the car was Bought a 68 plate car few days ago from Arnold Clark. There was a fault with sensors and they agreed fie me to take it to honda dealer. The honda dealer said the car was damaged at back and I sent Arnold Clark the report and requested a refund. They are refusing a refund and being very difficult. I've explained I didn't want it repaired or exchange and am exercising my right to a refund Arnold Clark has not yet responded. Ian McSkimming: 1/5 Stars 24/07/2019 worn/tyre Ian Mcskimming bought this car 6 weeks ago from Arnold Clark have done only 700 miles on it now Arnold Clark are saying I have two tyres that has a advisory on them after I took it for a recall today my car cost me over 8,000 pounds after a week I noticed that the driver side back tyre was a bit feathered at the outside I complaint about it to them but they refused to change it .Also they put two different make tyre's on the front , I know its legal but what I paid for the car I was expecting a set of decent tyres I'm very unhappy with them Arnold Clark has not yet responded. Chris Spence: 1/5 Stars 30/09/2019 Ripped Off Bought a used car from them for £4,000 and had to correct issues over the first year. Unfortunately the warranty had run out. Tried to sell it back to them and they’ve offered me less than £800 they’ve cited the issues that were already on the car when I bought it. Naturally I said surely the original price should have been lower but they aren’t having it. Arnold Clark has not yet responded. Chris Kadis: 1/5 Stars 23/03/2018 Unfit lease vehicle I leased a car for 4 years. The car was just 12 months old.Over the first six weeks of having the car I discovered many faults: chipped wind screen, rusted and broken bonnet catch, driver door catch broken, passenger window not operating properly, engine rattle, performing way below mileage spec, Bite almost to the floor. I don't know how it left the Arnold Clark centre ready to lease again in this dangerous condition. I spent much personal time which cost me in terms of salary to organise and be available for getting these things fixed under warranty. The centre where I leased the car from were not very helpful and made me feel like a nuisance. My emails and calls were not answerd until I took a strong approach. I want compensating for lost finances and I want to know why this car was thought to be in an acceptable condition to re-lease Arnold Clark has not yet responded. Darren Cunningham: 1/5 Stars 10/01/2018 What a load of rubbish I offer a warning to all those interested in purchasing a new car; do not go to Arnold Clark’s. My poor customer experience began when purchasing a Citroen Picasso C4 which only had 7,000 miles on the clock. The garage haggled with me over the price charging me £15 for a small amount of fuel in the tank, the description of the vehicle’s mileage online was incorrect, the parcel shelve was missing and they tried to palm me off with a much older and dirtier parcel shelve, then after the 8,000 miles I did in the vehicle within the first 5 months the electrical system failed costing me a further £538 in repairs, then when the car was meant to be repaired they were scaremongering me by sending videos to my email of the tread on my tyres, then I was promised the car back washed with a screen wash top up but that wasn’t the case either. So I would strongly urge car buyers to look elsewhere. Arnold Clark has not yet responded. CLICK HERE: Compare the cheapest insurance quotes | Save money on your insurance bills |
