Marie Taylor 17/04/2021 I am never purchasing from asda again this is the second time in as many months that I have had missing items from my shopping yes they have offered a refund which will take 3-5 but as a single mother with children I have very little money to spare and have to feed my children so was relying on my order to be delivered Paige-Megan Manderson: 5/5 Stars 19/07/2019 Little Angel’s Wipes I have noticed recently that the packaging and smell of the little Angel's fragrance free wipes have changed, I have also noticed since using these new wipes my son has suffered with a sore bum. I have used little angels since my son was born as he has sensitive skin. I tried these new wipes on my own face and found them to be very rough and coarse. Is there any stores which still have the old wipes as they are the only wipes I can use. The smell of these new wipes is also rather disgusting. I cant particularly describe the smell of is just awful Emma Epps: 2/5 Stars 07/01/2020 Little angels nappies I have been buying little angels nappies since my first born 8 years ago. Since having my 3rd 18 months ago I’ve never had such disappointment. I have to change my babies nappy nearly every 30-45 minutes as she is wt through, I have to change my sheets everyday as she wets then. It’s just awful ASDA has not yet responded. Federico Cicchi: 1/5 Stars 02/10/2015 Missing items in my delivery order, can't have a refund My order was delivered one day late and with missed items. Refund option on ASDA's website is not working for my order, so I can't get the refund. In details, their Refund page says my order does not have any item, but if I click on my order link I see the list of the items I ordered. I tried to contact ASDA at their customer service number but they keep me on waiting all the time at ANY hour of the day. I sent them two mails using their web site, no reply. I contacted them using Twitter and I had a reply saying to use their customer service number (the one that is keeping me on wait). I have three days (now two) to request a refund and this situation it's really making me uncomfortable. Really a bad experience. For you information my ASDA order id is: 17686736367. Zoe Stothers: 1/5 Stars 15/02/2020 Lil Angels nappies I purchased these nappies for my sons and I never normally have a problem with these nappies just once or twice however this week using the nappies the sticky bits are not sticking so changed my new born son again and every nappy in the pack was the exact same... So I went and purchased another pack as they wouldn't return the nappies for me and the exact same happened I'm a single mother on benefits and iv reported this before a few months back something needs to be resolved I can't afford to keep replacing nappies... I have two toddlers under the age of 2 it's upsetting. ASDA has not yet responded. CLICK HERE: You could save up to £497 on your energy bills by switching your supplier| COMPARE ENERGY QUOTES NOW |

Mrs Sue Neild: 1/5 Stars 12/06/2015 Disgustingly rude delivery drivers I have been shopping with Asda for about 5 years and find most of the delivery drivers and overall service to be okay (but not great) about 70 per cent of the time. I have had several instances at different times when shopping has not arrived at all, arrived too early, too late, drivers refusing to unload properly etc. However, like many people, I decided (possibly stupidly) to carry on shopping with them and tolerating mediocre customer service as I was used to them and their website (although that is awful too!) However, yesterday, I had an experience to top all unpleasant experiences. I had a delivery slot booked between 9-11 am and stupidly thought at 8:20 am that I would have time to have a bath before they came. At 8:35 am (whilst still in the bath ) I heard a commotion outside my front door. I wrapped a towel around myself, went to the front door and saw that regardless of whether he knew I was in or not (he did not bother to knock) that the driver had unloaded my shopping (about £200 worth of it ) sky high in its crates on my doorstep, left it there to fester in the hot sun and proceeded to go and sit in his van (presumably aware at this stage I was in) but neither knowing nor caring what m y reaction would be to this. I hastily dressed myself and went out onto my driveway and beckoned to him to come and help me unload. I was understandably furious at this so proceeded to say to him: 'You have arrived far too early and piled my shopping up in the hot sun. This is just not on'. He then said in a very rude and surly way: 'Okay. I'll take it away again' and was about to take it away again! He then said to me 'Your attitude towards the drivers stinks. I was told about you before I came here!' told what, I wonder - that, like most people, if I am paying about £175 a week plus delivery charge for food delivery that I expect basic customer service and not gratuitous rudeness? I was so gobsmacked at this that I just said back to him 'I am a customer!' and took the rest of my food, that he had tried to take off me and for which I had already paid, away again because he did not like my attitude! Am I suddenly living in a parallel universe in which stores do you a favour by delivering goods to you that you have paid for and in which the customer has to be grateful for this and mind their manners with their employees?! Why would I voluntarily buy goods from people who are rude, nasty and unpleasant to me and make the whole shopping/delivery experience a completely unpleasant one? I actually felt quite intimated by this 'delivery man', who looked about 7 feet tall, was in his twenties, had a shaven head and looked more as if he should be gracing the corridors of Strangeways than undertaking any sort of customer service role. I even toyed with the idea of phoning the police after as I was quite shaken up by this as a 52 year old 5 foot 4 inches tall woman on her own dealing with this character. As my husband said afterwards:'He would not have dared to speak to me like that!' Do Asda have a policy of bullying their female customers?! I have all this on CCTV, by the way, and the food comes from their Stockport store who have a bad reputation locally anyway. Unless I get a satisfactory response to this complaint, I will be writing to Trading Standards and national and local newspapers about this as I was very upset and shaken up by it and do not expect a store where I have been spending a lot of money and to whom I have been a loyal customer to treat me with such appalling contempt and I will not tolerate it. Parked the car and paid £2 for a pay-and-display ticket with attached refund voucher to obtain refund of the £2 if spending more than £5. At the checkout, as I was paying by credit card for my shopping I gave the refund voucher to the checkout lady after she had scanned all items and entered my pin. The till receipt showed that the £2 refund was not given so pointed this out to the checkout lady. Response was "Sorry we do not give cash refunds for parking vouchers" to which I responded that if that was the case then why was the £2 not credited against the shopping bill. Response - payment had already been applied to the card before the checkout lady had seen the refund voucher and if I wanted the £2 refunded I would have to go back and purchase more items to a minimum value of £2 to apply the refund voucher against. I Went to speak to the in store Customer Service who stated that this was the policy of the car parking company (Parking Eye). I found this hard to believe as the parking company would be instructed by the land owner/lease holder. I subsequently spoke to another more senior staff member who stated that this non cash refund arrangement was an agreement between Asda Head Office and Parking Eye as previously there was a long que of customers at the Customer Service point requesting a refund of the parking charge. I asked as to why the checkout staff do not ask for the refund voucher prior to completing the transaction at the point of sale thus enabling the £2 to be credited to the final bill. Response - checkout staff are not trained or required to do so. So here is the scam:- 1. Park car and purchase parking ticket with a refund if purchasing goods to the value of £5 or more 2. At checkout provide refund voucher 3. Where paying by credit/debit card "Oops sorry sir I have applied payment and cannot give you a cash refund. You will have to purchase more goods to the minimum value of £2 to obtain refund" 4. The choice the customer has is either walk out and forfeit the £2 (Parking Eye win) or re-enter the store and purchase more goods to the minimum value of £2 to obtain a refund (Asda Win). 5. There is no prompt from the check out staff to ask the customer for the refund voucher at the correct point in the checkout process (as staff are not trained or required to do so BUT are trained in the application of the scam) so that the refund can be applied as a credit to the bill. So there you have it. A WIN-WIN situation for Asda and Parking Eye and a LOSE-LOSE for the customer. Is it no wonder that Asda can undercut the competition. Query to Asda – Is this a local store initiative or is this scam sanctioned at the corporate level? First time I have ever shopped at Asda and it will certainly be the last. Rebecca Johnson: 1/5 Stars 21/08/2016 Click and collect service I shop at asda most days but as I was ill today I decided to try the click and collect service and arrange for my son to collect, I made my order online and paid 40 pence as suggested for my bags then waited for the app to tell me my shopping was ready to be collected at 4 o'clock , my son went to collect my shopping and stood Ther waiting until 4.45! He then had to sit on the floor and bag the shopping up himself! He had to ask for bags himself even though I included these on my shopping! I am disgusted in this service, also Ther were items missing from my shopping that I had paid for, I will never use or recommend "click and collect " service from this branch again, i have never experienced customer service like this ASDA has not yet responded.
