Nathalie Wilkes: 1/5 Stars 20/08/2019 Almost non-existent From day 1 with this company we have had issues. It started off with not having our bins delivered on the first day of our contract. Then we didn't either of our bins collected on several occasions, with some instances lasting a few weeks. Since I have made several complaints, they have told me that they have recorded a bin lift, though we all know differently. They have refused to let us out of the contract. Then once I started digging a little deeper I noticed that I have been paying for consignment notes that I have never received. not one. when questioning this I have been told that they will get back to me, repeatedly, for the last 3 months I have had nothing except "we will get back to you” Ash Waste Services has not yet responded. Suzanne Bradshaw: 1/5 Stars 20/09/2018 Can’t cancel the contract - been conned into 6 years with them! When we signed up with them we were told we could cancel or change our contract at any time. 6 months later we handed our notice in to be told we couldn't, we were tied in for 3 years! So we were completely lied to. Fast forward 3 + years and we send our notice again to the company. I receive a phone call to tell me yet again I can't cancel because there is only a period of 2 months when you can cancel. A maximum of 5 months before the 3 years is up and a minimum of 3 months before the 3 years is up. And guess what.........If you don't cancel you are tied in for a further 3 years!! What an absolute joke! So we have been conned into 6 years with this awful company and within those 6 years there is only a 2 month window where we could have cancelled our contract. We are speaking to our solicitor because I do not believe this is legal. On a seperate issue their prices increase massively every year. Ash Waste Services has not yet responded. Geb White: 1/5 Stars 05/05/2018 Lack of service We have on numerous occasions told this company about our opening and closing times as well as the days we are closed , yet after nine months still have not managed to string a weekly collection, and after many phone calls to the head office to which I’ve been assured they will collect, they simply don’t , and on the last time they collected we where told they take the extra that they didn’t collect and just left us in the lurch with a load of bin bags . I’ve now asked them to come and collect their bins as I can not put up with this blatant lack of service, can’t wait to get a proper company in , they also said their manager would ring me , but guess what , not a word from them. Ash Waste Services has not yet responded. Dave Bradley: 1/5 Stars 02/03/2019 Extremely dishonest business Just read all the other complaints about this shower and agree with them all 100% The contract is nothing like what the salesperson sells you so BEWARE and sign up at you peril!!! Ellis Evans: 1/5 Stars 22/12/2017 Rubbish Service Coming up to the busiest week of the year for a bar/nightclub business you expect your bins to be emptied, in fact over the course of a week myself and another manager have had to call up over 6 times to ask why our bins have not been collected, and every day we are met with different excuses (there was a van blocking the entrance, roadworks, delivery van in the way and we even got told it had been emptied) our bins are overflowing and we get fined from the council if these bins are not emptied. How is it acceptable to tell us that you will empty them tomorrow and then never do. I even gave my personal contact number for you to contact me if you have any issues with picking up the bins. I suspect that you just can't be bothered. I am absolutely appalled at the service I am paying for and I want an explanation as to why you think it's acceptable to just not empty out bins and not even inform us of any issues you may have??
