MRS R DE SOUZA: 1/5 Stars 05/12/2016 REFUND REQUIRED HAVE ADVISED AVRO ENERGY TWICE WITH REGARDS £100 REFUND AS IM IN CREDIT Avro Energy has not yet responded. Natalie Mitchell: 1/5 Stars 17/02/2018 Avro energy terrible company Avoid this company at all cost. I switched to Avro after them offering me a much more competitive rare. I entered my meter reading every month as requested and was told I was in credit every month on my statement. However after a year of being with Avro, I decided to ring up to renew my yearly energy. Whilst on this call they informed me that there had been an error with all of my meter readings and instead of contacting me to query this they decided to estimate it instead.( this had been going on for 11 months). This has now lead to me having a 250 pound bill. Avro's complaint team has been horrific with very little help or attempts to help resolve an error. The staff from the compliant department were very rude. In my opinion don't use them, worse company we have ever used. Avro Energy has not yet responded. Harold Wyld: 1/5 Stars 01/06/2019 Delayed refund From my own experience and all the other complaints on this and other websites, it is clear that Avro Energy are unreasonably delaying refunds of customers credit balances when they switch to another supplier. Although they are adept at taking a substantial monthly payment within just a few days of a notified termination date, getting them to produce a final bill is like drawing hens teeth. Frankly it is verging on fraud! Advice to any prospective customers is, surely, AVOID this awful supplier. Avro Energy has not yet responded. Geoff Walker: 1/5 Stars 11/06/2019 Refund of money in account I switched from AVRO in April this year, I had been with them for one year but a 13% raise in prices made me look around. When I left I knew I was approximately a £100 in credit. I waited for a final statement but none came. So about a month later I contacted them and was told final bill and refund would take 10 working days. So waited again and no final bill nor refund. Left several messages - nothing, tried calling but gave up the will to live after 20 minutes. After 14 working days my final statement is now ready but no refund. Finally I have sent an e-mail giving them 10 working days to refund me or I'd take them to a small claims court. A response! They promise me my money by the end of the week. We will see.... as I said in one of my e-mails to them why are you making this so difficult. Avro Energy has not yet responded. Kate Brown: 1/5 Stars 20/01/2019 Disgraceful service - won’t return money I was a customer for over 1 year, but when trying to leave for a new supplier, it is completely impossible to speak to anyone. I have (finally) managed to leave and have been attempting to get my overpayments back since October 2018. It is now January 2019, emailsdo not get answered and, again, calls seem be be on hold forever. Disgraceful service.
